2020 Collaborative Grid

36 artists respond to COVID-19 through a lens of creativity and mindfulness.

Each artist designed a square to create one group image. The squares reveal an important message. Although we’re separate, “We’re All In This Together”.

Meet the Artists!

We celebrate each of our members individually, discovering how each square is unique and shares a story. Yet we also celebrate together as a whole. We take a step back, look even closer, and it becomes clear that we really are all connected. With the recent movements toward real social-justice change, our project has gained an even deeper meaning. Our message is more relevant than ever.

Do you have a pattern for this? Could you share it?

This is so beautiful!!! I LOVE IT! I’m always proud to be a part of these projects, but this one is special to me. I’ve been feeling so isolated due to COVID and the stay at home orders. Seeing how the disease has impacted communities of color and highlighting the disparities in access to health care, food, education…added to my feelings. And then you add Ahmad Arbery, Amy Cooper, Breonna Taylor and George Floyd. Well.. this project means a lot!

Angela I REALLY appreciate not only your comment but also your quote. This level of depth of heart and feeling truly grounds and brings to life your square, which I love anyway! And THANK YOU for naming these fallen souls. TWO pandemics now, and our squares are taking on new meaning day by day.

This is beautiful work! I see this is the VIP showing. Will you be sharing via social media at a later date? I would like to share, but don’t want to share too soon.

    Thank you.

Everything connects to everything else. And these 36 artists have masterfully and beautifully shown just that. We’re all in this together and we can either be a part of the problem or the solution. The collaborative efforts of these artists shows that when people come together for one cause, the end result is the tapestry of all their passion and talents. Thank you all for showing us just how beautiful we all are and that good can rise from hardships.

I loved creating a single square for this project, but really had no idea how much seeing the tapestry of 36 images would affect me. It is such a gorgeous collaboration and I feel as if it is one huge cozy quilt. I love each and every piece of art and I also love reading the stories associated with them!! Such a fabulous job, everyone! Thank you, Sherry, for this inspiring project!

Let me take this opportunity to congratulate all of my fellow artists for their creativity, and talent. It is an honor to belong to the “No Name Art Group” and to continually share in projects such as this. The completed art is inspiring in so many ways, each square with it’s own distinct personality and together a true masterpiece. I thank you all as my peers, but more importantly as my friends…I am honored.
