Peace 2022
Artists will use ONLY yellows and blues, filling in the sections of their assigned square like a paint by number. From far away, the final image will form the yellow peace dove on a blue background. However up close, you will see the details of each individual’s artwork within each square.
IMPORTANT GUIDELINES
- We ask all participants to take the project seriously. This means time and thought is put into the artwork, and the artwork is submitted on time.
- Be sure to follow the blue/yellow colors on your square.
- You can work at any size, as long as it is in proportion to a square.
- You can work in any medium, be creative and have fun!
- Do not outline your square (we need the other square to fit seamlessly without the grid lines.
- The goal of our project is to create an inspirational message that promotes PEACE. Therefore, please refrain from depictions of violence, threatening language; inappropriate, indecent, harmful or offensive content.
- We’ll send a link for uploading your finished square. We also encourage sending images of your process, please include yourself if you’re not shy!
- We’ll have an online exhibition unveiling the final artwork, and will promote our message of peace across social media platforms.
